Connect I.T. allows you to plan changes, view both as-is and planned circuits and track changes from inception to completion.

Connect I.T. - developed to address the day-to-day management of passive I.T. networks.  This encompasses all data and telecommunications networks as well as those supporting other technologies such as building management and security systems.  This discipline, which has traditionally been called cable management, is in reality connectivity management.  Connectivity management enables a manager to accurately model the route a service takes to the user of that service and manage any changes to that circuit.

Connectivity management has become more significant as the use of structured cabling makes the connectivity of cables more important than their location.  Managers need the ability to view an existing circuit, plan all changes, generate the necessary documentation and record the changes made without rework or duplication of effort.

Full connectivity can be tracked in either the Connect I.T. database or in CADVANCE, or both.  

Includes a CAD Drawing Interface with CADVANCE

To provide you with the capability to combine record drawings with the details of the passive network.  In providing a comprehensive bi-directional link users are able to see full physical and logical circuits in both database and CAD formats in CADVANCE.

Locations in the Connect I.T. database are linked to your drawings, which can then be automatically loaded when required.  The link between CADVANCE and the database systems is seamless and you do not need a working knowledge of CADVANCE in order to use this application. 

You are able to physically locate network entities on a drawing by identifying them in the Connect I.T. database.  Components in the database are automatically linked to their graphical representation, which can be interrogated to determine connectivity details that can be displayed in either application. 

Components to be connected can be automatically loaded in the Connect I.T. database from the drawing reducing the time spent trying to locate specific components.

Having this graphical interface makes Connect I.T. highly productive and cost-effective for managers who are responsible for day-to-day maintenance and for installers responsible for network documentation.
