Item #1: I notice that Cadvance creates a file called ^CV_ConvDwg.dwg when you translate an AutoCAD 2004 drawing. Does this drawing stick around after the translation is done or is it temporary? I’ve got several of these scattered around my network.

Issue #2: When I translate certain drawings, I like to add tags while it is still in AutoCAD so I can tell certain layers which layer number to drop into when it translates. However, I have been noticing that if I translate the drawing, then notice some layers that I forgot to tag and go back into AutoCAD and fix them, the next translation still has the previous layer set up.

I'm thinking that items 1 and 2 may be related. Any thoughts?
