John,

I also have issues with true type. By biggest problem lately has been the length that true type prints. If I have a piece of true type under an image or drawing and I want the text to be the same length as the drawing it is under, it will print fine at one scale but at another scale the true type is shorter than the image it is under.

Maybe related to this is the way true type appears on my screen. It never appears at the same length that it prints at.

I like using TrueType Text on my drawings. Over the years, cadvance TrueType has worked sometimes
better and soemtimes worse. I have always had a problem when translating to .dwg. The text goes
crazy, some disappears and some will appear at
unexpected places on the drawing. So. I am forced to convert to cad font and then am not happy with the way my drawings look. In the current and recent versions the size setting will not hold from instance to instance. For instance if I set the size to 10 and type a note
and them come back to do a new note the size will
have dropped to 9 and have to be reset. I have talked about this to Cadvance a number of times with no improvement. Does anyone else use TureType??}
